Support for the weight you can't always name

This is recovery support inside our substance use program: help with the triggers, the burnout, and the pull of old patterns that keep making sobriety harder than it should be. It is not psychiatric treatment, and we will tell you clearly if that is what you need instead.

It exists for the hard middle. The stretch after the emergency is over, when nothing looks wrong from the outside and staying steady still takes everything you have. Those weeks deserve tools and people too — not just the crisis ones.

Recovery that feels grounded

Grounded recovery isn’t about staying inspired every hour. It’s about having practices and support that hold when inspiration is gone — and knowing who to reach for before a hard day becomes a setback.

Skills that stick

Concrete strategies for managing triggers, cravings, and overwhelming days so you have something usable when emotions spike.

Group and peer support that remind you you're not the only one carrying a heavy day or rebuilding after setbacks.

Forward motion

Small, honest steps that rebuild confidence and a life that feels like yours again — not a performance of being “fine.”

Recovery support within SUD care

Recovery support is part of our licensed substance use disorder care. We do not provide primary mental health treatment or psychiatric care, and we refer out when specialized mental health support is needed.

If you’re unsure whether you need recovery support, substance use treatment, or both, start with admissions. One honest conversation can help you understand the available options.

Recovery Support at our Fresno office

Our Fresno admissions office is here at 4576 E Shields Ave — one building, one team, no corporate campus somewhere else deciding how your care goes. Residential care is at our Millerton Lake property, and admissions is answered day and night, which means the call can happen when the need hits rather than when an office opens on Monday. We’re a Fresno team treating Fresno people, and that shapes how we work. We know what it takes to step away from a job and from family, and we will be straight with you about that before you decide.

Recovery Support questions

Is recovery support the same as therapy or psychiatric care?

No. Recovery support is part of our licensed substance use disorder care and focuses on triggers and daily recovery skills. It is not primary mental health or psychiatric treatment, and we refer out when that is what is needed.

Where is recovery support delivered?

It is scheduled through our Fresno office at 4576 E Shields Ave, alongside the rest of our substance use programming. There is no separate recovery-support clinic in another city.

When is recovery support most useful?

It is built for the stretch after the crisis, when staying steady still takes real work. The trigger-heavy months are exactly the ones this part of the program is meant for.

How do I know if it is the right fit?

Most people cannot tell from a website, and they are not supposed to. Pick whichever program sounds closest, or let admissions sort it out with you by phone.

Let's lighten what's been too heavy

Whether you have questions or you’re ready to begin, our admissions team is here 24/7 — without judgment, and with real next steps.
