What Happens When You Call
The first five minutes
Nobody asks you to explain yourself perfectly. We'll ask what's been going on lately, how long it's been like this, and whether you're calling for yourself or someone you love. If you have an insurance card nearby, we can start checking coverage while we talk. If you don't, we keep going anyway.
You will not be sold anything. Plenty of people call once, hear their options, and hang up to think — sometimes for weeks. That's a normal use of this phone number. So is calling because the house is quiet and you needed to say it out loud to somebody.
Calling about someone else? Say so at the start. A lot of first calls are a parent or a partner. We'll talk through options with you, and help you figure out a next step that doesn't ask you to carry the whole thing.
